A Rhinoceros has taken up residence....

In my studio along with some other little critters.  Sometimes I think my animals can get a little too similar in body shape to my sewing ladies.  I am so glad this guy is a meaty no neck.  And I am just noticing that all my animals lean to the left....maybe because I am right handed?

Just wanted to mention....

That I visited my friend Keren Kroul's two person exhibition at Artistry in Bloomington, Minnesota on Friday night.  It is a spectacular show!  Of course I love my friend's gorgeous work, but I also discovered a fabulous sculptor, Nathan Hatch.

It is up until August 19...Hope you might have a chance to see it!

one of my favorites....

is Christina Bothwell.  I first saw her work 12 or 13 years ago at a gallery outside of Detroit.  It is so ethereal.  I wish I could explore materials in the way that she does.
